my 2.8 coupe has been kicking the last several weeks up to Nat's. We typically are at least able to be close to the top runners, but just couldn't seem to run with the pack at Nat's. I didn't expect to win, but thought I would at least place well. This was the bumpiest surface I've ever run on and in retrospect the shock setup may have been too stiff, but I'm just not sure. There were also a lot of sweepers; typically the BMW's weak point, and we probably weren't able to maintain the same speed as the other vehicles through them. Despite being the highest finishing BMW in AS it was still a pretty crushing blow to be back 2 seconds each day.....

I'm unsure of whether or not I'll try to move up to the 3.0 coupe for next year or just move on to another brand at the end of the year.
