Over on the S2000 Forum, there is a lot of discussion about his (and ONLY his) front swaybar! Seems that he is the only one who has this larger then normal (even larger than the Mugen one) front swaybar. And a lot of observations was that his rear wheels were not lifting like anyone else's, thus able to put more useable power to the ground. Makes me wonder, then, if setting my (ours???) front bar to full firm might help our cars too?

As for the setup too stiff, that can be part of having too many adjustments that can be made? The 72 Lotus Europa I used to have many years ago had SPAX shocks on it. Not only was I able to adjust spring perch height (maybe the predessesor to coilovers???), but the stiffness had 15 clicks to it. For a few months before I sold the car, . . . the front end was like an airplane landing (bump, bump, buuuuuuump) in the turns. It wasn't until the day before I sold it that I realized that in the year that I had the car, and constantly trying to adjust the stiffness of the car, that I had set all 4 to full firm! DUH! And with the tremendous LACK of weight in the front of oa Europa, I only had made it terribly worse! So maybe there is also a penalty with having too many adjustments - as in more time used in just setting it up, then actually using, and getting used to the car?

As for the Z3 3.0i - if it stays in AS, it COULD be the car to have? but with that damn rear E30 suspension in the rear, and the LACK of adjustment in the front, I guess we will be seeing you in a Boxster 2.7 next year like Joe???
