i don't understand your criticisms. those items you wish for: they all point to your need to get the new M3.

i would prefer a decontented (and lighter M coupe). i could care less about a computer, or a sunroof, or a HVAC with auto temp. control.

ps. if you think the current engine now needs to rev to reach power, have you looked at the specs on the new unit? peaks at 7900, 100rpms later, you have to shift.
