The Coupe is definately in production, and will continue to be. The M will go into production in the first quarter of 2001, due to the extremely limited availability of the new M motor,(M3 demand). It will get the new motor, and some minor updates, and then with the new redesign in two years, will get the 6 speed, etc...
That was the word from the factory at Homecoming. Don't worry, just dealer hype about it not being available. But in all fairness, not a lot of info is out there. BMW will introduce the new M at the LA,(I think), auto show in Jan.
