I priced insurance on a 98 M3 at around $250/mo, which aint too bad, I expect the M Coupe will be a bit more than that.

You might be pleasantly surprised. I was looking to buy an M3 and the cost to insure me (26, no tickets, accidents) was significantly lower if I bought the coupe. I'm insured w/ Geico. I don't know if other insurance companies offer as good or better rates. I'm actually paying less to insure my car than my wife in her '96 328iS. Enjoy your Coupe!
