You might be pleasantly surprised. I was looking to buy an M3 and the cost to insure me (26, no tickets, accidents) was significantly lower if I bought the coupe. I'm insured w/ Geico. I don't know if other insurance companies offer as good or better rates. I'm actually paying less to insure my car than my wife in her '96 328iS. Enjoy your Coupe!

Thanks- I just called my insurance company to get the rate on the new Coupe. I was very happily surprised to find that my insurance will only be $50 more a month than I am paying for my 1988 M3!
AND, it is $50 less a month than a 1998 M3! I dont know how they figure these rates out, but they are pretty quirky!
