At long last, there's been an upgrade to the website.

Good news: it says "2001 M Coupe", which puts an end to the rumours that 2000 is the last production year.

Bad news: no spec. sheet or MSRP ("see dealer for info...").

Strange news: intro says that HP is 240, while dealers and buzz say that HP goes way up for '01 due to E46 M3 engine being put in (maybe the info is a carryover from old website?)

After speaking with a marketing guy at BMW Canada he told me that the new Mcoupe will be the same car but with an option 300+ engine. I thought he said 315hp and I believe I have seen 32x hp somewhere in some magazine. What he did say was that he was a whole new engine, not the orginal. I doubt it will have more horsepower than the new M3 Coupe but I don't doubt it will still be faster.
