but, some magazine was doing a long-termer on a 911 and and sure enough, there was an statement in it about how great that car was in the snow with appropriate snow tires. makes sense since the engine sits on the rear wheels and then you give it some traction.

i think if you're willing to invest in snow tires and shove some weight in the rear of the coupe, you'll have a good all year round car. or, if you will choose one tire, did you look at the new BF goodrich KDWS? winter & snow rated all season tire.
