I realised that almost everyone considers sunroof essential (sometimes even the true diehard enthusiasts who are way more into the sport than I ever will be). But I hate sunroofs and so will always have to order my cars -- my dealer told me that I was the first in a year who ordered sans sunroof. A few very tall guys over 6 4 have to do it out of necessity but I do it by choice.



I didn't want the sunroof, and the exact day I went to Shelly, they had a 00 Z3 Coupe there sitting on the lot exactly the way I wanted it - no roof, 17" wheels, 5 spd. Didn't have the Trip Computer, but so what. And the rest is (AutoX) HISTORY :)

Funny thing too, . . . inside the glove compartment was an invoice from Brecht BMW in the San Diego area! So it just happened to get to Shelly as a Dealer Trade too!
