It's the best performance mod for the money. Why pay double the price for the Jim C intake?

And as expected- the engine breathes much easier now, and has a fairly loud grunt @ WOT. I love the sound it makes, but it also has bumped the HP and TQ a bit- maybe 5-10 horses? All in all- well worth the money, and I got mine used for $150, so I feel it's a bargain! I would definitely buy it for the $499 list if I had not run across this guy parting out his aftermarket pieces.

I'll see if I can attatch a mike under the hood and on the rear bumper and make some wav files on my laptop.

Cheers,

///Mike

I thought just doing the intake w/o software could trigger the car to go into "limp home mode" because of the increase in air/fuel mix.
