My mom had this installed for my dad in his ML320. So I got to use it for some driving around and locating things. I was pretty impressed!
The good news on the Alpine systems is that the pricing structure for the CD's for street level detail are the best, from what I've been told. They only had one problem with trying to redo a route during a cross country trip. But they use it a lot.
It has to be fairly simple, because they're VCR still says 12:00.
