I needed one more 2x4 to finish my garage project and my friend's truck was already returned. Went to the lumber yard and tried it.

With one end deep in the passenger footwell, between seats it just barely fits with the hatch closed. We're talking 1/8" to spare. Name another car with similar performance that can do this, except for maybe an Audi S4 Avant.
