That was one of the tracks Chicago Region SCCA used to have AutoX events on back when I was there. If you watch this race, you will see the "X" track in the middle of this. We turned this into sort of a kidney bean shaped course by using 1/2 of that "X" part in the middle. There would be pylons in the straights, and on the "X" part, but not on the banking as that would not have been safe. But oh was it FAST! You'd start on the on ramp, drop down and speed on the straight past the start light, then thru some pylons and into the banked turn. Then just off the bank into the "X" part, go through a slalom that would continue into some gates on the next half of the "X", then back onto the banking and thru the straight again to finish. Then we'd exit on the other ramp.
