I went to see how much the dinan suspension would cost and it is close to $1800 for a stage 2 kit. This seems a little overpriced for what you are getting. I know that the warranty is a big issue, but it looks like I could save a lot of money having non-dinan parts. Comments?
That might be IF you pay for it in full out of pocket. But if it is installed as part of the new car deal, then it might be cheaper (internal New Car Dept labor rates and % over cost parts prices). And as it would be burried in the car loan, then it might only add pennies to a few dollars more a month. And yes, lets not forget it would be covered under warranty.
I am not saying that they are the best, but for what you have a chance to do, it might be a good route to take.
So even though the list price of the kit is $1800 it may not actually cost that much because the dealer would keep the original parts and give me back a percentage for those parts? Is that what you are saying? You also mentioned a labor rate on a new car being cheaper, could you elaborate on that? thanks for the valuable info!!
