Today was the second day within a monthy that a very good friend of mine got a speeding while using his Valentine1 radar detector in his black 1988 944 Porsche Turbo. He is very meticulous and knows how to use it, nonetheless he might now look at a licence suspension.
Three weeks ago he got caught on a 65 mile an hour highway doing 90, and today while cruising near me very mellow, he got caught doing 54 in a 35. Now I drove pretty much next to him in my black MCoupe and was convinced that my speedometer said 45 at the time. However I was in the left lane, he in the right lane and about 1/2 a car length ahead.
I have not used a detector really and have been very lucky I guess, or maybe just more cautious without? What do you think?
