... on the track. Results were quite impressive, track time in Hockenheim was the same as on the GT3 (but still slower than on the 996 Turbo ... just for the book ). Measured acceleration time from 0-125 mph was 17 seconds (GT3: 16.1 seconds, 996 Turbo: 14.6 seconds). From 0-100 kph (~ 62 mph), the Z06 was exactly 1 second slower than the 996 Turbo. BTW: the Z06 is not available in Germany, they tested a US version. Top speed on the Z06 was 275 kph (GT3: 303 kph, 996 Turbo: 307-312 kph), even slower than on the 996 (top speed 280 kph). But SPORT AUTO was highly impressed with the performance of the Z06. Unfortunately the 996 (not Turbo) seems to have little chance against the Z06.

This is a car faster than the M Coupe for sure and even the normal 911... Anyways buy wot u like. Don't compare.
