Squeak has now turned into a low moan.
Took it to dealer - service dept took a look - diagnosis 'so it sqeaks a little - we could take a look at it for you but its not broken'
Apparently the rubber sqeaks when it gets cold (and its freezing in CT at the moment)

I will buy 4 hyubdai's next time and throw one away when its starts to squeak - should give me 400,000 miles of trouble free motoring.

Hi,
took the car out for a Sunday afternoon spin (not literally) this afternoon and out of the blue the back right rear suspension starts creaking - most noticeably when rolling slowly over small bumps. So I get out and bounce the thing up and down manually - creak sqeak creak.
The damn passengerside rear suspension is making a creaking that I can only describe as a cut down version of the six million dollar man bending metal. For those of you too young to remember this, it also sounds like a knackered old bedspring.
Is this bad? It irritates me, but I'm wondering if it's sick enough to need me to take it in to BMW asap, or just to wait until I get so pissed off with it that I bother to take it in.
Anyone else had this?
