I seriously doubt it would take more than a few minutes. The 01 has a single screw in the bottom of the storage (rear) compartment. Removal of the old armrest can be tough if they used the bolt/nut combo. See the attached link for removal options and instructions.

Is it easy to do it yourself? Because the 01 cupholder is $85 and the dealer wants to charge me $85 an hour of labor to install it.
