It was kinda funny- I was out shooting in Sultan (DMill, you know where this is), and I started my car and the damn thing said I was empty! So, just having read this post the previous day, I popped the hood, and pulled out the instrument fuses, started the car, popped the fuses back in, and the problem disappeared! The buddy that was with me was quite impressed with my 'instant solution'.
