I'm sorry Animboy I wasn't indicating your news was redundant. "Like I said in May" should have been my title instead. No offense intended to you. Just vidication for all the nay sayers who disagreed with me in May. I guess the latest Article in C&D or R&T is also inline with all the reasons the 321 HP M3 was not brought to the US it was simply cost. $55K was just too much to pay for a higher top end (155 mph). Logic follows if the motor was not brought into the US for the M3 (a higher volume seller) it would not be brought in for the M Coupe or M Roadster. But I feel $50-52K for the new M Coupe my have priced itself right out of the market. Only time will tell. On the other hand I think it will be great for the resale value of the 1999 and 2000 M Coupe. Not that I EVER plan on selling mine.
