similar the cars are in terms of accelerative potential. i didnt' even want to touch the intangibles.

for instance, i can't explain why i love 2002s or 911s, i just do. even if i'm in a car that can blow the proverbial cobwebs out of my head everytime i hammer the engine. doesn't matter. the appeal of those cars is incredibly alluring.

but, seeing the inside of the p car and how nasty it looked (to me), and how similar the front end is to a boxster, i paled. so, that's why i chose the SC kit.

so the intangibles you and i share are: lucas electrical systems. seats that don't recline. etc. charming to us. awfully fugly to the folks who pull up next to in lexuses of m-b's.
