current machines have dropped well below 400 lb, (375lb dry for R1) and power output at the rear wheel is well over 100hp even for 600cc bikes! the top superbikes are getting up near 150hp and low-to-mid 10's in the quarter (i believe the 0-60 is in the mid-2 range, but few mags quote that anymore - i suppose margin of error is greater than the measurement). suzuki hayabusa, although heavy at 500lb, pushes 157hp at the wheel for 9.95 quarter @143 and 190 top end. that level of performance would have been competitive on the GP circuit a decade ago. so i would fully expect top supercars to approach F1 performance of less than 15 years ago before long. of course you won't be able to buy them for under $10K as you can a modern superbike...
