There will not be (I won't say never) a street-legal car that goes that fast simply for one reason: even if the car could theoretically go that fast on a drag strip, there are no tires that could support that much horsepower. Even John Hennessey admits that in order to get his Hennessey Venom 650R 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds, he needs to use 15" under-inflated drag slicks. The times with regular tires were slightly higher (3.7-4.0 range).
