I do not yet have the M Coupe though I have test driven it extensively (not on track though and not enough to really notice the issues, if any, of the trailing arm suspension etc.). I think you will certainly get one of the stiffest cars out there. It is so much fun that it is amongst the two cars that I am considering as a stop gap measure while I wait for my E46 M3. Ran
99 328i sport (to be sold in a couple of months)
and 98 M3 (a keeper)
The M Coupe supposedly has the stiffest body that BMW makes.

Hi guys-I'm over visiting from the E39 board and have been contemplating trading in my 99 540 from an M Coupe (Hatchback Version) For those of you out there who have the hard top I ask you does the car rame flex going over bumps and taking hard corners like the soft top version does? Any comments greatly appreciated.
