In Reply to: Fuse #33 in M Coupe keeps burning out. Help? posted by Esteves on December 03, 2000 at 02:24:24:

Neither the front headlights nor the rear tailights were removed during repair.

At first, I thought wiring for the V1 had possibly come loose and was making contact on some metal surface, somehow causing a short
circuit and the fuse to blow.

BUT

with the new fuse in place, I can turn on all the interior lights (plus the V1) that is controlled by the fuse with no problem.

It's only when I try to engage the lights is when the fuse decides to blow.

Could it be that the bulb in either the left front parking light is out or the rear left tail light is out is causing the the fuse to blow?
