I am looking at used m/z coupes - the 2000 or 1999 are a great buy versus a 99 or 2000 m3. Or a new 3.0 coupe. My wife just loves the looks.

With only ~2000 (?) made, they are destined to be a classic.

I talked to my insurance company today - only +$50/year over her '90 LS400, which seems odd, but great that there is no huge premiums.

The used 528i 5 sp are also nice. Haven't seen a 5 sp 530i, only auto, but sales brochure says 5 sp available. Decisions!
