I wire up my cars so that you go from min. light (low beams), to max. light (low beams, high beams, fogs, etc.). This is controlled from the steering column high beam switch. This way you are not fumbling for switches going back and forth. I wire in an enable switch so that you get individual control of the separate lights when desired or if you are stopped for inspection. You basically use the high beam true hot wire to pick a relay that picks the added light relays. The relay supplys a ground to the added light relay coils. If you are bringing in fogs plus driving you will need a double pole relay to keep them isolated. The pic shows the rough sketch I made to do my car. Will clean it up for the home page article.
