New M Coupe / Roadster info (archive)

Just read on a official German car magazine page some news about the engine of the next M Coupe / Roadster as it will be presented at the Auto Show in Detroit:
325HP@7400 instead of 321 and 350Nm@4900. I'm wondering why the rpms of max torque is that high...
0..100km/h in 5.3sec, top speed 250km/h
