Is the car doing anything funny on the road? That's really weird. The only thing I can think of is if someone pulled the parking brake, jacked the car up, then set it back down to do the alignment. The parking brake sometimes holds the suspension at funny angles. Any good alignment shop should not do that though. I think toe changes as a function of camber too, which might explain the whack toe reading.Peter
The rear alignment on my 99 M Coupe is not within spec and I need advice whether/how to fix.
Camber -- which is supposed to be -1.75 degrees +/- 0.50 -- is -1.28 on the right and -2.24 on the left. Total toe-in -- which is supposed to be 0.25" +/- 0.11" -- is 0.44".
Because the rear is not designed for adjustment, should I consider replacing suspension members or having a body shop put it on a frame machine, or do I leave alone?
