The stereo in my car was replaced completely when I bought it ('00 M Coupe, 6k miles). The pervious owner was nice enough to replace the head unit, amps, and sub -- and speakers I'm guessing, too. Now instead of the stock sub, there's a 8" Boston Acoustic sub in the left corner (opposite the fix-a-flat kit). It's got plenty more bass than the stock.

Where the stock changer and sub were, is now the amps, nicely concealed so that anyone looking in will not see them.

I've got some pictures to show it, but just no place that the MB can get to them. :(

My advice: go into a stereo shop and see what they have to say.


I want to replace the stock sub with some better stuff, but i don't know jack about car audio. can someone give me a hand?
