1. Not really much of a comparison. While the new 3.0L engines are close in HP to the M Coupe (225 vs 240) there are minor subtleties in the //M. Ex: 4 wheel vented disc brakes (3.0 is only front 2), and larger brakes are just to name two off the top of my head.

2. Don't know. I haven't driven a new M3 for an extended period of time. But I do know that I see them everywhere.

3. Everyday :)

4. Trunk? Still haven't had the need to use it yet. Looks to be spacious enough for some bags, but don't plan on bringing back a 32" TV with it.

5. Well, I've seen //M Coupe prices vary quite a bit for new and used ones. There are only a few "new" ones left I would imagine, good luck locating one new. Used would be a better bet, as far as pricing goes, well, that's hard to say. I got my '00 //M Coupe w/6k miles for 36k.

Hi,

I currently own a 99 M3 with some stuff done to it (flywheel, exhaust, chip, etc.) and Ive wanted an M Coupe for a while. I might be getting the chance to get one and give up my M3. I have a couple of questions.

1) Is the M Coupe worth it over the 3.0 Z3 Coupe?

2) How does it compare to an M3?

3) Just wondering, do yall get a lot of stares?

4) Hows it for trunk space? Although that really isnt too much of a concern

5) Im assuming all model years are pretty much similar, am I correct? What kind of pricing should I look for?

6) (last one) I havent been on here very long and I plan on searching the archives some more (*as helpful as they are*) and I was wondering if I should hold out for a little while for the new one. The problem is the deal with my M3 is for a limited time so I might have to use my interim Mazda

Thanks in advance, I might still have some more questions though.. sorry
