under acceleration the M pitches backwards quite a bit. that adds to the 'g' force the meter is 'feeling', resulting in slightly optimistic readings. i did a rough calculation a while back and it came out to about .2 seconds for a 3 degree tilt, if memory serves me right. there's a similar unit being marketed in england which has the 'squat' correction that is settable for the particular car. in cars with lower ride height and stiffer springs/shocks the g-tech would be more accurate. but it's not off by much as-is. if you use it for testing mods, it should be a great tool. for absolute readings and bragging rights... well, that's your call ;)
