I don't know exactly what you mean by "blip" the gas. If that means racing the engine between gears, I'd not do that. Instead, consider the following.
During agressive driving and lurching, you need to change the timing between accelerator pedal pressing and clutch pedal releasing. This timing issue is what has to change. If the lurching is a quick deceleration, you may need to press a bit more on the gas as you let out quicker and smoother on the clutch; it's hard for me to say.
I suggest you get a friend who can aggressively drive your car flawlessly (no lurching), then have him observe your clutch and accelerator operation. He'll probably spot the lurch cause and help you overcome it.
