hey - ok - i was just winding you up.
Interesting idea - works well for photo storage - reread the specs - makes more sense now.
Seems to me you could add the mp3 decoder and you'd have a Nomad with more features for the same price.
Maybe you can answer this - why did noone ever consider using minidisc as a cheap mini device storage solution?

designed the website or the wallet?
it's amazing what you can sell a 6gb hard drive and a usb cable for these days :)
nice toy - try adding a digicamera and a wireless modem and/or bluetooth

well, it's a whole lot cheaper/easier than carrying a notebook around (or a bunch of CF cards - a single 128M costs half as much as our 6G product). it has a coldfire CPU and quite a bit of smarts (has to support a bunch of different file systems on cards and drive, drive graphics and fonts on the display, etc.), and the 2.5" drives are still pricey... that said, yes, the price can be a bit of an issue for some.

don't want to add a camera - lots of people pretty good at that already. as for the other items... let's say it's been mentioned a couple of times (bluetooth is WAY too slow for image files though).
