Nope, you need to take it to the dealer and have them replace the "hold-it-openers". These are the things that look like shock absorbers attached at the sides of the trunk lid. It should definitely be a warranty item.

Only "fix" that doesnt require going to the dealer is to make yourself a nice broomstick of the right length and prop it open. Snap-on makes a adjustable-length one that costs $50 or so. But why not just let the dealer fix it for free?
