the new engine, with its higher redline, also has six independently actuated throttle bodies.

the euro e36 motor has 6 throttle bodies, but even those are groups in 2's. so the new engine is more responsive and has a higher redline.

but i can't see them making them 2001 models. by the time the m3 shortage dies down (if ever), the z's will be 2002s.
