I just went through the same thing by changing out the stock lightbulbs with Xenon ones that were supposed to be much brighter and run cooler than the stock halogens. I was under the impression that the light would be a brighter white but they are actually just a pale blue that is definitely dimmer than the stock halogens (I got the same 55/65 wattage bulbs as stock). Anyway, to install them you just twist the old bulbs counterclockwise to remove them, unplug the harness, plug in the new ones (taking care not to touch the glass), and reinsert them by turning clockwise. They should turn easily and snap into place. If not, the bulb may be cockeyed in the housing. On my 3.0 Z3, I had to remove the airbox to gain access to the driver's side bulbs.

Hello everyone...

I was wondering if anyone has ever changed or know any good resources in changing the lightbulb in the headlights. I purchased Xenon lighbulbs and want to install them... Im not that mechanical so I thought I would post something here before I tried it...

Thanks for the help!
