Scotch seems to make the most durable, but it costs a bit more. Most of the better tint shops use it. There are several densities; I prefer the lighter ones as they are safer at night, like 32% all the way around.

The shop that's tinted our cars told me that the darker metalized films may reduce weaker RF signals enough to cause problems with electronics. They did a sedan equipped with a GPS unit and when turned on, the unit reported the car 60+ miles from where it was. After the film was removed, all was fine. Sounds a bit strange to me, but I'm just passing on something you might ask the shop about.

Be sure to ask what window cleaner they recommend for it. Some cleaners are strong enough to damage the film.
