I think that I shouldn't try fixing it myself, like Ron did, because it is not my problem. I seriously think that the M Coupe sucks because of these silly problems. How come BMW NA & BMW AG cannot cure these things once and for all?!

These are great points. I owned and sold a 2000 MCoupe this year and am having serious withdrawal and am considering the 2001 MCoupe. Like you, I seriously wonder if they will have resolved some of the quirky problems they have to know exist.Having the trunk latch, bleeding rear washer, popping swaybars, and various other niggling issues really concerns me. I think the engine, even at 315Hp is going to be great, but it seems like BMW may have taken a quick and easy way out by just attending to that detail alone.
