another opinion based on perceptions.

the only magazine that i get monthly that i like is "automobile". and the z06 was named its car of the year.

last i heard, GM v8 don't balk because of our fuel requirements. their high performance motors don't need replacement of drink oil like M5, m3, and m coupes seem to.

so, i really don't see the point of your post. at the 40k pricepoint, bmw is embarassingly bad. and it will just get worse with the new m coupe and its higher MSRP price.
