Mark Sipe has commented numerous times on this. The number one problem with the Coupe (ALL of them) is the old NON-ADJUSTABLE suspension! Because of the rules in SCCA, you can not add camber plates and a ton of other goodies to your car to get it to handle better. So sadly, with little (maybe a 1/2 degree of neg if you are lucky and use crash bolts) or no negative camber in front as an example, our tires wear out big time on the outer edges, as well as not able to grip as good seeing as more of the tread isn't reaching the pavement in turns. But now the other guys, as in S2000 with multi-link everything and tweaks galore, how can a Coupe compete against them? Only if you are a way better driver. But that too can only take you so far.
