BE VERY CAREFUL DURING THE WINTERS!!!!! The new M Coupe with its tremendous ammount of HP might be too much for some to handle, specially on the infamous "Black Ice"! Hell, as many years as I had raced, when driving home from a buddy's house off of Stoney Island Ave back to Steger, it took me nearly 4 hours to get home, white knuckling it all the way. And this was in a low powered car (72 Spitfire). And this is not to mention the idiots that slam on their brakes in the ice and slide right thru stop signs! That is why I always had a beater for the winter - actually could call it a CASH car as I always got hit and folks would pay. But you don't want your Coupe to be hit, nor the road salt to ROT it. Try also to get a cheap, yet neat little car like a Mazda RX2, 3, or 4! I had an RX2 during the winters, and loved it! As a matter of fact, its the only beater I kept the longest, drove it the most, and never really considered it a beater as it was in great condition. Oh, and did I mention that as being a rotary it was FAST as hell??? :)

As for the complaints of others here, . . . I can see from those who already have an M Coupe ok. They really wanted the more HP in the new engine, but the car is NOT changed enough to validate switching cars. For you, who don't already have an M Coupe, you'll be fine and enjoy it. As for the complaints about the LITTLE stuff - well, they never owned English Cars before, and so are TOO picky. Back in the old days, if you DIDN'T hear it, then it must have fallen off! And we were considered LUCKY to have a roof that didn't leak, a heater that worked, and a car that started every morning. Sure it was a pain, but it also gave those cars CHARACHTER and PERSONALITY! But that was killed when the more reliable (and mass produced) Datsun 240Z first came off the assembly line. You have to remember, the Coupe is a SPORTS CAR, not a luxo car. If it didn't have its little fits, it wouldn't be a sports car that once again has PERSONALITY.
