Thanks for the note of support. For me the deciding factor in choosing the BMW was that the vette is just too big. The M Coupe doesn't perform or handle as well, but I think it's much more fun to drive. There's a certain tension you feel on a narrow twisty road with a car as big as a vette, while with the M Coupe the experience is easy fun. I just wish the silly thing would stop having silly little problems.

Obviously you do not know the 'Z06", or Vettes in general (pun not intended). The improvements in both performance and quality made for the Vette in the past 5 years or so, especially when the C5 appeared, has been tremendous. And ... the new "Z06" is the culmination of their efforts. For the money, it's a tough one to NOT consider when looking for a performance vehicle today ... and ALL the scribes of the various car mags will back me up on that statement! I admit, that if the "Z06" was available when I purchased my "///M coupe", I would have been tempted. The main factor that keeps me lovin' my Coupe is its individuality or "uniqueness" ... something you cannot find in a Corvette.

Anyway, just a few words to enlighten you regarding the "Z06" ... it's one BAD "Bow-Tie"!
