Is it that the new engine is salt in the wound but not enough to justify switching ships?? " is right on target. The M3 sedan is such a large evolutionary step for the 3 Series I think most Z3 and MZ3 owners where hoping that more of those tweaks would make it into the M Coupe.

Look at the complaints, other than a six speed transmission, most of them are about lighting and trim not the drivability of the car.

You have made a great decision and you will confirm it the first time you drive the car.
