Clear headlight front lens replacement??? (archive)

Can the clear plastic front lens of the headlight be replaced by itself?

There are clips holding the clear lens to the black body of the headlight assembly. I think I'll remove the assembly and check this out. Seems like it can be....wishful thinking.
