Hi Steve. As you can see from the pic, the fog lights offered by BMW are really not very attractive; in fact, they're ugly. (I'm sure most, if not all, will agree with me on that point). Instead, here is my suggestion:

The lights used in the fog light install on the MZ3 site (http://www.mz3.net/articles/085.html) are nice looking, but (as mentioned by another post) should be mounted not in the brake duct, but like Ron Stygar did with his white Coupe (http://www.unofficialbmw.com/images//catz1.jpg), and that is on the very outside edge of the radiator air intake. Ron went with the dual "driving/fog" option by Catz; personally, I'd prefer just a fog or driving light; not both, again, due to cosmetics.

The main point is to not impede the air flow to the brakes, especially if you plan on doing any lapping sessions. If you DO mount them in that location, hopefully they'd be easily removable for when you go to the track.
