To say nothing of what problems the extra bright lights do in fog and rain where their bluish color scatters the light much more than normal yellowish white lights.

But you can put whatever lights you want in your car. Personally, they ain't worth it. I just replace my Sylvania bulbs every year or so as they tend to dim a bit with age. Sylvania Cool Blue bulbs are excellent for high beams. Sylvania Extra Visions for low beams are hard to beat.
