SCCA Solo II Season starts again . . . (archive)

Sorry, this isn't a post about chrome wheels, body kits, or dinner at "Ed's". The SoCal SCCA Solo II season started up once again today (gee, wasn't it only a few weeks ago that the season ended???). And what a battle it was too! Sadly, I lost again to the ZR1 Vette and finished 2nd, but by only .5 seconds on the Index. And there is now some hearty competition too! With the Indexed times, there were 5 of us all in the 49's with mere hundreths between us! The course was setup great too! A real fun 60-75 second course.

Karl and Shihab were there earlier and ran before I got there, so I didn't get to see them run, nor have their times to compare. My best run was 60.994 (Index of .815 for AS), and the Vette that beat me had a 59.3XX (Index of .830). And I got even with Derek Brauch in his M3 for beating me once last year, as he came in 3rd :)
