Blue light scatters much more than Yellow light.
This is why the sky appears blue. Diffusion of light is proportional to f4, that is frequency to the 4th power.

I am looking for better lighting too. Does anyone know of decent white light for our cars? What are "super white" bulbs, etc?

Xenons ARE white light. They are NOT blue. Replacing the bulbs with "super whites" or whatever will get you less light not more.
