A word to the wise on this repair; some people have negated to do the repair because it requires a piece of your carpet to be cut out behind the passenger side seat.
I had it done anyway (the crazy fuel gauge was really annoying me). I just made sure to tell my dealer over and over that I wanted the piece to be cleanly cut and replaced.
For the past few days my fuel gauge has been acting weird. It goes from full to half and then empty and then to normal.
Anybody has had same experience.
